Wolter Koops is an international transportation and logistics company specializing in temperature-controlled logistics. The company was founded in 1961 by Wolter and Hetty Koops as a sole proprietorship in Zeist. In the early years, the company focused on transporting potatoes, market stalls and fair goods. In the 1970s, the company began international transportation, especially to the then GDR and Czechoslovakia. In 1986, the company moved to Zeewolde, where it continued to develop and put its first refrigerated truck into service. The switch from covered transport to refrigerated transport in 1989 marked an important step in the company’s specialization in conditioned transport. Since then, Wolter Koops has grown into a major international player with branches in the Netherlands, Germany and Poland.
The company offers a wide range of logistics services, including transportation, cross-docking, distribution and warehousing, all within an integrated cold chain. Wolter Koops serves various sectors, including flowers and plants, fruits and vegetables, dairy products, meat and frozen logistics. With the motto “just stay cool,” Wolter Koops remains committed to providing reliable and flexible logistics solutions in Europe.
Thank you, Wolter Koops Duitsland and Arie Slingerland!
