Safety and quality are key pillars of Flanders Expo’s operations. To continue meeting the highest fire safety standards in the future, the infrastructure at the Ghent site is being further optimised.
In Ghent, Winlock is installing ten fire-resistant sectional shutters with a fire resistance of 60 minutes (EI1 60), ensuring efficient fire compartmentation of the halls. Each door is equipped with the Noise Lock application, enabling sound reduction of up to 36 dB.
This upcoming project at Flanders Expo Ghent builds on proven solutions that have already been successfully implemented at Antwerp Expo. There as well, Winlock’s fire-rated doors contribute to a safe, reliable and professionally equipped event environment.
