In Waregem, Locinox invested in further optimizing and expanding its site. Winlock had the privilege of contributing structurally to the safety and continuity of this facility.
The family business replaced the site it had occupied since 2001 with a Smart Factory of the Future. Locinox 4.0 has become an innovation hub featuring a state-of-the-art research and development department and a near energy-neutral production environment, where all manufacturing processes are coordinated and digitized. By focusing on automation, digitalization, and efficient logistics processes, they not only strengthen their production capacity but also enhance their flexibility and future readiness in a competitive international market.
The integration of high-performance fire resistant sectional shutters ensures that different zones remain safely separated, without impacting operational efficiency. Winlock installed a total of 15 fire resistant sectional shutters here, with a fire resistance rating of EI1 60, including several with conveyor applications. These solutions contribute to enhanced fire safety and support the continuity of business operations, without compromising functionality or integration within the existing infrastructure.
