Van de Velde is a Belgian company with more than a century of experience in designing and producing premium lingerie. From Schellebelle, part of the municipality of Wichelen, the company has grown into an international player with strong brands such as PrimaDonna, Marie Jo and Sarda. Quality, innovation, craftsmanship and a perfect fit are central to its activities.
To support its continued growth, Van de Velde is building a new distribution centre in the Meerbos II expansion zone in Wichelen. The building will have a total surface area of approximately 8,000 m² and will be largely configured as an automated logistics centre, complemented by modern office spaces. Goods will be stored at this new location and shipped to markets across Europe and North America. This will strengthen Van de Velde’s logistics capacity while keeping the company firmly rooted in the region where its history began.
Winlock will install fire resistant sectional shutters with 60 minutes of fire resistance (EI1 60), including one with the Out Lock application, suitable for exterior use. Roller screens will also be installed. These solutions contribute to effective fire compartmentation, a safe logistics environment and the continuity of operations.
