The strong growth of Coldo, a company specialized in deep-freeze storage for third parties, will soon manifest itself in a brand new fully automated 45-meter high deep-freeze warehouse with front building, loading zone and office on the former Van der Vennet site in Kuurne. The existing buildings on the corner of Noordlaan and Industrielaan were completely demolished to make way for this approximately 12,000 m² new construction project with a storage capacity of 60,000 pallet spaces. The demand for frozen storage space has been on the rise for several years, and with this investment Coldo is proactively responding to this growing need. The warehouse will be equipped with the latest technologies and should be operational by 2025. This expansion will allow Coldo to serve its customers even faster and more efficiently, while also creating additional jobs in the region.
