Wind lock

This sectional shutter has been specifically engineered for environments that are frequently exposed to high wind pressure, such as coastal regions, high-rise buildings, airports, wind farms, ports, or tunnels. It ensures reliable protection of infrastructure and enables critical operations to continue even under extreme wind load conditions.

Depending on the project requirements, doors can be designed to comply with wind resistance Classes 1 through 5. Class 5 is the highest category, without an upper limit, and always requires a project-specific structural assessment.

As with all our solutions, customization is essential: our wind-resistant Wind Lock application can also be combined with additional performance features such as fire resistance, acoustic insulation, smoke control, or explosion protection – fully adapted to your project’s specific needs.
