Our industrial sectional shutters are specifically engineered for environments where overpressure or underpressure can occur, such as cleanrooms, airlocks or CO₂ extinguishing systems. In these situations, it is crucial that the door remains structurally intact while maintaining full fire compartment integrity.
This type of industrial shutter is also designed to withstand blast waves from external explosions (blast resistance) without any structural failure. The construction absorbs both positive and negative pressure loads as well as the dynamic impulse of the explosion, a key requirement in demanding sectors such as petrochemical industries, defence, ATEX environments, and nuclear facilities.
