At Logistiek Park Moerdijk, Vrolijk is building an XXL warehouse of 240,000 m² for DSV Global Transport and Logistics. The warehouse will consist of 10 distribution halls with a total floor area of approximately 198,300 m², complemented by a 38,600 m² mezzanine. With 136 loading and unloading docks, goods flow in and out without a hitch, and parking won’t be an issue either—with more than 1,000 parking spaces located on the roof of the warehouse. The new facility will also house five separate office units, together totaling around 4,915 m².
Port of Moerdijk is the fourth-largest seaport in the Netherlands and the most inland. The Logistics Park offers space for large-scale storage and distribution, with a specific focus on value-added logistics—companies that enhance products and create jobs. The development of the park marks a significant expansion of the port and industrial area, giving Moerdijk’s multimodal profile a powerful boost. The business park spans around 200 hectares, of which 140 hectares are available for development. Ideally situated next to the port and the Klaverpolder junction (A16/A17), the site offers seamless access by road, rail, and water.
Winlock will supply and install no fewer than 46 fire-resistant sectional shutters at the site. All overhead doors will be fire-rated for 60 minutes (EI1 60), with several featuring our special Liquid Lock (fluid barrier) and the new Opti Lock system with integrated vision panels.
