In Hauts-de-France, the ACC Gigafactory in Billy-Berclau/Douvrin, an emerging “battery valley”, will produce lithium-ion cells and modules that rank among the most sustainable and safest in the world. This flagship site reflects Europe’s ambition to swiftly meet the growing demand for electric mobility and low-carbon solutions.
Safety is a top priority in this state-of-the-art facility. Due to the storage of lithium-manganese-cobalt, the site is classified as SEVESO and must comply with the strictest standards for fire safety and environmental protection.
In this context, Winlock has been selected to equip the site with nine high-quality fire resistant sectional shutters, offering up to 240 minutes of fire resistance. Our mission: to ensure reliable and secure access points in a highly sensitive industrial environment.
