In Lembeek, a district of Halle, Montea is developing a new logistics project for Colruyt Group. Montea is a Belgian real estate company specialising in the development and leasing of logistics properties. Its portfolio includes strategically located warehouses, distribution centres and logistics parks in Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Germany. In an overview of the Belgian logistics property market, the Colruyt project in Lembeek was described as the highlight of transactions along the Antwerp–Brussels corridor.
At the new site, Winlock will install several fire resistant sectional shutters with a fire resistance of 60 minutes (EI1 60). Several of these shutters will be equipped with Liquid Lock, an integrated liquid barrier that helps prevent the spread of liquids. Winlock will also install fire doors with an EI1 60 fire-resistance rating. These installations support fire compartmentation and improve fire safety at the logistics site.
