Future project: Stubbe Tobacco Company, Zonnebeke

In 1943, Maurice Stubbe, grandfather of the current manager Lieven Stubbe, started producing rolling tobacco for local customers in the West Flemish town of Zonnebeke. Cigarettes were later added, including the Tiercé brand, as well as cigars. Until Frans Stubbe decided in 1989 to focus only on rolling tobacco. Each product type required its own production process and this remained difficult to combine. With Lieven, the third generation entered the business in 1992. Today, tobacco company Stubbe is still 100% owned by the Stubbe family. Anno 2016, the main markets are Germany and the Benelux countries. Through a network of multiple distributors, the main brand “The Turner” also enters the market in other European countries and even some countries outside Europe.
Winlock will install a fireshutter with a fire resistance of 60 minutes.

Thank you, Stubbe Tobacco Company!
